TAURUS V - Further developed articulated lorry for deep excavations

The TAURUS V is the further development of the TAURUS IV and has been specially designed for transport in deep excavation pits. The platform height of the trailer or roller pallet is approx. 270 mm, provided there is sufficient ground clearance. The vehicle is designed for load capacities of up to 20 tonnes. Like all TAURUS models, the loaded semi-trailer can easily cope with gradients of up to 28% and a cross slope of 15%.

A special feature is the optional steering function of the rear axle: with braked semi-trailers or roll pallets, the rear axle can be steered by an additional 30° via a turntable, which significantly improves manoeuvrability in narrow pit areas.
