ORION III
The ORION III is a powerful telescopic handler that has been specially developed for the harsh conditions in mining. With a lifting capacity of up to 10 tonnes (at LSP 600 mm), it handles heavy loads with ease. The machine is powered by a 180 kW diesel engine that fulfils the latest emissions standards. The hydrostatic drive is supported by an additional 3-speed powershift transmission, while all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering ensure optimum off-road manoeuvrability. The oil-bath multi-disc brakes ensure reliable braking even under extreme conditions.
The ORION III is particularly versatile thanks to its quick-change system, which enables the use of various attachments such as a workman basket or crane. The machine can also be used as a platform vehicle without hydraulic stabilisers. The robust design makes the ORION III a reliable partner in demanding underground operations.
