The MAJORIS Slag Pot Carrier was specially developed by NORDMEYER for use in steelworks and manufactured in Germany. It is designed for loading, unloading and transporting liquid slag and can handle a maximum load capacity of 70 tonnes. The robust, maintenance-friendly design ensures high operational reliability even under extreme conditions.

The MAJORIS is powered by a water-cooled 6-cylinder Deutz® in-line engine with an output of 300 kW and a 600-litre fuel tank. The built-in cooling system is designed for ambient temperatures of up to +60 °C (for short periods) so that the vehicle works reliably even in extreme thermal conditions.

The hydrostatic drive comprises a pump distributor, axial piston and summation gearbox as well as four powerful drive motors.

The front axle, designed as a non-driven steering axle, is controlled via a fully hydrostatic power steering system, while the rear axle consists of differential planetary pendulum drive axles with eight tyres to ensure maximum traction and stability.

The fully welded frame in shell construction is designed for the toughest conditions and reliably protects the engine and transmission - including an integrated collision guard. With this combination of high performance, reliability and practice-orientated technology, the MAJORIS slag transporter is the ideal solution for demanding tasks in high-temperature applications in steelworks logistics.
