REACH STACKER ORION V- Powerful, all-terrain, reliable

Our all-wheel container stacker was specially developed for demanding military operations - reliable in a wide range of climates and under the toughest conditions.

With all-wheel drive, all-wheel brakes and high ground clearance, it can handle any terrain with ease. It moves 20-foot ISO containers with impressive power: up to 24 tonnes in the first row and up to 16 tonnes in the second row. It works powerfully and stably even on a 15% transverse gradient or 30% forward and reverse gradient.

Its compact, robust design also makes it extremely flexible - it complies with international transport standards and can be easily transported on low-loaders, by rail, as sea freight or by plane (SALIS).

Special features of the ORION V

• Stacking of containers three high in a row, 16 tonnes load capacity from the 2nd row upwards

• Optimum degrees of freedom to accommodate a 20-foot container even in difficult terrain.

  • Lateral tilt of +/- 7 degrees

  • Linear lateral extension of +/- 200 mm

  • Forward/backward tilt of +/- 10 degrees

• Endless rotation through 360 degrees enables longitudinal transport of the container even in narrow areas

• The hydraulic stabiliser works with an automatic lock on the pendulum axle and a speed limiter. Both guarantee high lateral stability of the reach stacker on rough terrain.

• Number of gears Powershift transmission: forwards / reverse 4/4

• Electronic weight display with load control

• All instruments and steel structures are suitable for ambient temperatures from -32 to +44 °C (C1, A2 and B3)

• The tyres are made fail-safe by foaming in compact design, filled with DUROFILL.

• Ready for use and transport in 1 hour - transport by road, rail and air

• Wading depth 500 mm to overcome even water obstacles.

• The cabin (ROPS/FOPS standard) can be operated with special protective suits against nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.
