TAURUS - Heavy-duty transport vehicle for deep excavation pits

This transport vehicle has been specially developed for use in deep excavation pits. The platform height of the trailer or roller pallet is 400 mm, provided there is sufficient ground clearance.

The vehicle is designed for load capacities of up to 20 tonnes. Like all TAURUS models, this semi-trailer can also cope with gradients of up to 28% when loaded, with a cross slope of 15%.

A special feature is the optional steering function of the rear axle: with braked semi-trailers or roll pallets, the rear axle can be steered by an additional 30° via a turntable, which significantly increases manoeuvrability in narrow pits.
