TAURUS IV - Flexible roll-off tipper vehicle for underground logistics tasks

The TAURUS IV is a versatile roll-off tipper vehicle that has been specially developed for underground logistics tasks. As shown, the vehicle can be used, for example, as a mobile diesel tanker with a capacity of 8,000 litres to reliably refuel underground vehicles. Alternatively, the tank cassette can also be parked at a central petrol station and operated as a stationary refuelling station.

With a vehicle height of just 2,300 mm, the TAURUS IV is ideal for use in confined mine and tunnel profiles. Like all vehicles in the TAURUS series, this model also has all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and oil-bath-cooled all-wheel brakes, which guarantee maximum traction and safety in demanding conditions.

As an option, the TAURUS IV can be equipped with a hydraulic crane to efficiently handle additional lifting and loading tasks.

The TAURUS IV - hooklift with crane - has a crane loading capacity of 70 kN and achieves a reach of up to 8 metres with its telescopic arm. Thanks to its various articulated booms, it can load and unload itself and is therefore suitable for repair and maintenance work. Integrated stabilisers ensure stability during crane operation. This all-rounder for underground construction can be used for various purposes:
