With an impressive pull-back force of 65 tonnes, the DSB 5/65 sets new standards in the well and core drilling sector. Developed for maximum deep drilling and large diameters up to 1,100 mm, this powerhouse impresses with its uncompromising performance, robust design and maximum reliability - even under extreme operating conditions.
The drilling system is powered by a powerful, water-cooled 8-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 370 kW (503 hp). In drilling mode, an impressive 314 kW (427 hp) is available via the integrated power take-off. The modern exhaust gas aftertreatment in accordance with exhaust gas stage VI with AdBlue technology guarantees future-proof, low-emission operation.
The rig is based on an all-terrain Mercedes-Benz 8x8 carrier vehicle with four axles and permanent all-wheel drive - manoeuvrable on the road, uncompromising off-road.
