DSB 3/18
An all-rounder for robust construction site use
When it comes to reliability, power and flexibility, this drill rig is the first choice. Designed for drilling through a wide variety of geological layers, it delivers top performance even under the most demanding conditions. The result: clean, precise and economical drilling - whether in well construction, geothermal energy or geotechnical exploration.
The carrier vehicle is a SCANIA P410 6x6 with three axles and permanent all-wheel drive - robust, all-terrain and made for mobile construction site use. The drill drive is powered directly from the vehicle via the power take-off, which makes the system particularly compact and ready for use.
Sufficient power is provided by a water-cooled 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine from Scania® with a total output of 302 kW (410 hp). Of this, 235 kW (320 hp) is available specifically for drilling operations. Thanks to compliance with the Euro VI emissions standard and the use of AdBlue®, the system operates with low emissions and is environmentally friendly. With a sound pressure level of 82 dB(A), the noise development remains within an acceptable range - even during longer operations.
The enormous adaptability of the system is particularly worth emphasising: depending on the project requirements, the drilling rig can be adapted to a wide variety of methods - from flush drilling to dry drilling or cased percussion drilling. In addition, the rig can not only be mounted on a lorry, but also optionally on a crawler chassis - perfect for terrain that is difficult to access or soft ground.
A real powerhouse - for anyone who doesn't want to compromise.
